Celebrated for the first time on March 11, 2021, Canadian Women Physicians Day (CWPD) is a day marked to recognize the trailblazing women physicians of history and to celebrate the contributions of female physicians who are making a difference today. CWPD was created by Dr. Liana Hwang and supported by CWIM. It is celebrated annually on March 11th across the country.
